Assistant Project Manager
Job description
SYZYGY Global is seeking a Construction Assistant Project Manager to join
our team. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for
managing the day-to-day activities of construction projects, including
planning, coordination, and communication with internal and external
stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage projects from inception to completion
Gain and sustain a deep understanding of the organization to
effectively manage and oversee all construction projects and
initiatives.
Aid in the delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are
completed accurately, cost-efficiently, and on schedule, in line with the
approved scope of work and quality standards.
Facilitate Change Orders and coordinate manufacturer deliveries.
Coordinate inspections, manage project closeout, and schedule service
as needed.
Work closely with the Project Manager and other executive members,
providing necessary support and technical assistance
Develop detailed plans, set milestone targets, and ensure deadlines
are met
Update checklist items on project status in real-time to maintain
thorough and comprehensive project documentation
Procure additional parts for projects as needed.
Manage the company calendar, meetings, and important events.
Perform additional duties as assigned by Project Manager
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field
preferred.
2 years of experience in construction project coordination or related
field.
Knowledge of construction project management software.
Keen attention to minute details
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
simultaneously.
Proficient in the use of Mac-based software and technology.
