T.M. Cobb/Haley Bros. Inc. is Hiring a Customer Service Representative (Buena Park) Near Buena, CA

Our manufacturing company operates five manufacturing plants, four distribution warehouses, and five sales offices. Over the years, we have prided ourselves on the continuous persistence of our Founder's original vision: To supply lumber and building material dealers with a wide selection of quality products, knowledgeable and responsive service, and fair prices. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients. This is a key role within our organization, and we are looking for someone who is dedicated, detail-oriented, and has excellent communication skills. Knowledge in woodworking, Millwork, cabinetry, door manufacturing a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality customer service support for all T.M. Cobb/ Haley Brothers, Inc. customers.
  • Process and review customer orders, request for orders and system generated acknowledgements.
  • Analyze customer feedback and provide suggestions for improvement.
  • Resolve customer complaints or concerns professionally and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Makes contact with assigned customers via phone or email to develop the relationship.
  • Maintains customer database: updates data and communicates necessary changes to Manager.
  • Understands and determines the customer’s needs and encourages customers to purchase additional products.
  • Manages customer queries, claims, estimates and orders.
  • Follows-up on estimates and negotiates price within parameters set by Manager to obtain the order.
  • Takes ownership of achieving annual sales plan by territory.
  • Participates in product and self-improvement training.
  • Works closely with Outside Sales Representatives to coordinate a successful relationship with assigned customers.

Skills:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:

  • Knowledge and/ or experience in woodworking, Millwork, cabinetry, and door manufacturing a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy.
  • Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Experience with upselling or cross-selling products or services.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with outbound calling or sales is preferred.
