T-Mobile USA is a leading provider of digital wireless voice and data technology standards. Senior Manager of Product Management of Wholesale located in Bellevue, WA will be responsible for leading a team of product managers developing business and product requirements, writing product specifications, driving product development for new initiatives and enhancements, making appropriate trade-offs to optimize time-to-market and desired outcomes throughout the organization. The Wholesale business includes MVNO and IoT.
Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Establish partnerships across the IoT/MVNO organization and the enterprise to define, develop, manage, and drive execution of the product roadmap based on business and customer needs.
  • Write product requirements documents, ensuring clear communication of those requirements to the business, design, and development teams.
  • Participate in technical design and architecture with cross functional teams – network architects and engineers, IT architects, and various back office teams for successful development and implementation of the requirements.
  • Responsible for defining product features, documenting product requirements and collaborating with stakeholders and technology teams to drive product feature implementation.
  • Responsible for determining technical impacts, problem solving and proposing solutions.
  • Provide support to partners and internal operational teams to resolve partner issues related to billing, network connectivity and network performance.
  • Technical Training to potential and current Customers and internal teams.
Skill requirements:
  • Experience as a Product Manager in software/hardware and telecommunication network technologies with a focus on technical product management and/or product development.
  • Strong understanding of data services and products.
  • Experience with wireless network products/services.
  • Experience with creating product requirements and driving solution design and architecture in an agile environment.
  • Experience with enterprise wholesale billing platforms.
  • IoT/MVNO product experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey business and technical concepts to subject matter experts and non-technical professionals.
  • Ability to influence, lead and coach cross functional teams and champion new concepts and ideas.
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engg, IT or related field (Required)
Work Experience:
  • 7 years of relevant Technical Product Management experience in an agile software product development environment.
  • Advanced level understanding of customer experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Product Lifecycle Management Experience in delivering large and complex business/technology initiatives. (Required)
  • Communication Proven ability to effectively and efficiently communicate with Leadership, while employing a high degree of collaboration and influence. (Required)
  • Agile Proven success in directing matrixed resources and delivering software, with Agile Scrum methodologies and other commonly used tools, across multiple teams. (Required)
  • SCRUM Proven success in directing matrixed resources and delivering software, with Agile Scrum methodologies and other commonly used tools, across multiple teams (Required)
  • Agile Project Management Experience with Agile backlog/project management tools. (Required)
  • Technical Writing Strong requirements elicitation, and proven writing skills including the ability to write concisely and clearly for different audiences. (Required)
  • Business Analytics Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to identify/analyze/synthesize product use data and use the data to drive decisions. (Required)
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
Washington Pay Range: $158,100 - $213,900
  • The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.
  • At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
