Job OverviewContributes to T-Mobile success by delivering and implementing large or complex new systems, projects, processes, and/or programs that improve profitability, reduce costs, streamline operations, or enhance service to the business and customers. Collaborates effectively with cross-functional business and technology development teams to solve problems and implement new solutions. Manage and report daily on the teams progress. Manage morning scrum calls with the team and document updates to all projects and assist team with pushing team initiatives.

  • Assembles key players on the project team and nurtures internal working relationships across the enterprise which fosters the development of cross functional teamwork.
  • Delegates project responsibilities and task interfaces, directs, motivates, and manages the project work and resources involved within the project.
  • Ensures timely activity, integration and productivity of technical support and administers efficient use of resources to meet requirements with clear identification of task completion.
  • Questions ambiguous responsibilities and manage conflicts to an early resolution and escalation of any unresolved issues.
  • Plays a support role with technical solutions ensuring all groups’ responsibilities are included.
  • Facilitates the creation of the project charter and examine project related technical documentation for completeness and latest versions and insure availability and distribution to all project team members. Insure required document review and approvals according to company standards and processes.
  • Facilitates creation of work breakdown structures, develop and update project schedules/plans with actual and forecasted results and manage deviations from plan. Analyze validity of schedules submitted by outside parties contributing to the project. Distribute schedules in various formats and detail to suit different users or audiences.
  • Monitors actual team project progress, compared to baseline, and report progress against schedule. Document, obtain approval, and track all changes in project parameters.
  • Produces detailed reports and notifications as appropriate and communicate project status to respective stakeholders and project sponsor.
  • Manage all ticket assignments across the team. Monitor, report, and advise on all support tickets coming into the team.
  • Identifies Risks in projects and use proven PM techniques to assess and mitigate. Facilitate project risk reviews and appropriate mitigation.
  • Examines risks associated with the work, proposed contracts, and major changes, and make recommendations for handling or equitable sharing.
  • Documents the impacts on schedule of proposed changes and develop program solutions to minimize the impact and ensure alignment to time and scope.
  • Attends and/or host management and project team meetings as required keeping the project team informed and progressing including project reviews with partners as necessary to perform ongoing assessments on the progress of projects.
  • Upon project completion or premature cessation, closes all project documentation and archive actual appropriate records and achievements for estimating future similar projects.
  • Coordinates practical details of the transfer of the care, custody and control of the final product including assembly and transfer of operational and maintenance documentation.
  • Provides recommendations of lessons learned for improvements in process and procedure both within the PM structure as well as across groups.
  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Qualifications:Education:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, Project Management or combination of equivalent experience and education.
Experience:
  • 4-7 Proven experience as a program or product manager within a technology environment, with a progressive record of successful delivery of complex solutions, systems, or services.
  • Experience working on projects in a wireless industry.

Washington Pay Range : $122,300.00 - $165,500.00
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
