Tasks/AufgabenPosition SummaryReporting to the Contracts Counsel, and working primarily with Sales and Divisional Controllers, the Contracts Manager will assume ownership and accountability for ensuring accurate and compliant contract terms with customers. This position will interact heavily with Customers, Sales, Operations, and the Controlling Group.
ResponsibilitiesThorough review of Customer Contracts
Ensure proper payment terms.
Ensure cash collectability under IFRS 15
Review contracts to ensure limited liability & indemnification protections.
Negotiate and resolve contract discrepancies with customers.
Facilitate proper signature authority for customer contracts and non-disclosure agreements.
Store electronic copies of all signed customer contracts and non-disclosure agreements and maintain an electronic filing system.
Effectively communicate with the Controlling Group, Sales, Operations, Billing and Accounts Receivable Departments
Support the Sales & Operations teams in successfully closing deals and growing the business.
Assist with the maintenance of GDPR compliance for the Region.
Facilitate and/or partner with others on special projects as assigned.
Some travel may be required
Qualifications/QualifikationenEducation and ExperienceBachelor s degree or Juris Doctorate Degree, required.
Prior law firm or in house corporate experience desired
10 years of contract review and negotiation experience
Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards IFRS 15
Demonstrated experience in working independently to identify, analyze, and solve problems with creative solutions with minimal supervision
Skills, Knowledge And AbilitiesExcellent communication skills (written and oral)
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to prioritize conflicting needs; handles matters confidentially, expeditiously, proactively and follows through on tasks until successful completion.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams
Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and collegiality
Ability to work effectively, efficiently and strive for continuous improvement
