Job Summary: The primary responsibility of a STAR Senior Relationship Manager (Senior RM) is to manage a team of Relationship Managers (RM).The Senior RM is responsible to ensure that assigned RMs are managing accounts within the guidelines of TAB's policies and procedures.The Sr. RM position requires a highly capable individual with a strong background in leadership, factoring, project management, and a thorough understanding of banking regulations.A Sr. Relationship Manager provides leadership and proactive communication to customers and team members. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Professionally manage, coach, and mentor a team of RMs.
Work closely with upper management to ensure successful execution of the bank's strategic goals.
Report performance and/or concerns of the team's portfolio to management.
Facilitate an environment conducive to customer satisfaction and retention while enforcing policy and best practices at all times.
Continuous improvement of the A/R Financing product.
Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Continually demonstrate an ability to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
Drive and challenge RMs on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their account management strategies.
Demonstrate outstanding judgment and flexibility.
Identify and react to critical issues in a timely manner.
Consistently demonstrate ability to successfully move into problem-solving mode whenever challenges or concerns arise.
Daily monitoring of exception reports and assigned portfolio monitoring activities.
Manage and assign new customers to team members while maintaining a personal customer workload.
Manage team member shifts and work priorities; ensure adequate customer coverage at all times.
Train new RMs.
One-on-One Mentoring sessions with RMs.
Develop new ideas and best practices to ensure best in class products and services.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a business discipline or the equivalent industry experience.
3 years of experience in factoring or structured finance.
1 - 2 years of management experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
Proven ability to work in a self-directed and fast paced environment.
Superior skills with the Microsoft Office package (especially Excel).
Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a strong understanding of how to interpret customer needs and deliver solutions.
Strong ability to interpret data and respond accordingly.
Confidence, tact, and a persuasive manner.
Ability to be decisive and act timely to critical information
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of individuals ranging from executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Strong ability to generate enthusiasm among team members.
