This position typically works around 45-50 hours a week, which gives 5-10 hours of overtime each week.Job description: The Tacala Maintenance Technicians provide year-round, ongoing preventative maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment. The technician should be able to work independently and with others, communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and interact with employees, vendors, and customers in a professional manner.Essential Functions of the job (not an all-inclusive list):Foodservice hot equipment repairsElectrical troubleshooting and plumbing repairsBuilding maintenance/handyman servicesRoutine restaurant upkeep and repairsUse of internal tracking softwareMore details:Must be able to lift 50 poundsMust have three (3) years of experience with restaurant kitchen equipment and general building maintenance.Must have the ability to travel from location to location – remote field work as needed.Must be able to pass a background check and MVR for use of company vehicleExperience required:3-5 yearsTechnical school graduate or high school diplomaSkills: Must be knowledgeable with the following manufacturers - Delfield, Pitco, Henny Penny, Hatco, Bunn, Star, Frymaster.
