Hiring: Assistant Restaurant Manager, Shift Manager
Pay: $16.75 - $17.75/hr. Location: Hillsboro, OR
The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the overall operations of a single restaurant. Assistant Managers are required to have open availability, work full-time (35 hours a weeks), and are scheduled to work opposite shifts and days of the Restaurant General Manager. They are considered the right hand to the Restaurant General Manager and will continue development training to encourage inter-company growth. Assistant Mangers must have positive coaching skills, be proficient in “ALL” workstations and have a strong command of shift control tasks along with being capable of performing computer/administrative tasks as assigned.
A Shift Manager is an hourly employee who after proper certification is put in charge of limited time segments for the daily operations of a specific restaurant location. Shift Managers are responsible for assigned shifts with the goal of enhancing/improving guest and team satisfaction along with supporting restaurant initiatives. Shift Managers work in the front of the house during peak hours to ensure the team is working together and guest have a quality experience. Shift Managers are proficient in all team member positions and can handle operations safely when a manager is not present. Responsibilities will vary based upon the restaurant’s needs. All Shift Managers are expected to perform tasks/job duties assigned to them.
