JOB SUMMARY:The Hourly Culinary Manager will oversee daily culinary operations, ensuring that all food served meets our high standards of quality and consistency. This role is vital for maintaining a positive kitchen environment, leading and developing kitchen staff, and ensuring the efficient operation of the kitchen.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared according to the Taco Boy’s recipes and standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and ingredients.
  • Monitor food costs and minimize waste.
  • Train new kitchen staff and provide ongoing training to current staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with Service department to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role in a kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Passion for Mexican cuisine and commitment to high-quality food and service.
