Job Description & Requirements
- Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit
- Discipline: RN
- Start Date: 08/04/2024
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours
- Employment Type: Travel
- Number of Beds : 12
- Patient Ratios: ICU patients 2:1. Med/surg and pcu patients 4:1
- Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Charge RN, RNs, PCT
- Type of equipment : Ventilators, specialty beds, occasionally CRRT
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Scheduling requirements: minimum of 4 weekend shifts per schedule (schedules are 4 weeks).
- Floating policy: Contract labor floats first
- Patient Experience requirements: med/surg experience Hospital Specifics-
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Must have : Advanced skills needed: Procedures performed on unit: Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS Dress Code : (Required uniform)
- Navy scrubs Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines.
- Awards/Recognition: Please include anything that you would like prospective candidates to be aware of, such as, links to videos that feature the department, outstanding department/team awards..
- Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, schedule options, etc.
- TriStar Skyline Medical Center is a 233-bed HCA facility located in Nashville, Tennessee. The Center is home to the state's first comprehensive stroke center and is one of the national leaders in neuroscience . TriStar Skyline has earned many awards and accreditations , including an Outstanding Achievement Award from the Commission on Cancer , an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care, and a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures by The Joint Commission. Staff members say the Center's emphasis on open communication and the many certification opportunities make them feel like valued employees. The Center's location is close to the Opryland/Music Valley neighborhood of Nashville, known for its attractions like the Grand Ole Opry and the Two Rivers Mansion .
