About The FacilityAndroscoggin Valley Hospital is a general medical and surgical hospital located in the Mt. Washington Valley in Berlin, NH, with 25 beds. Survey data for the latest year available shows that 9,032 patients visited the hospital's emergency room. The hospital had a total of 1,107 admissions. Its physicians performed 254 inpatient and 1,466 outpatient surgeries.Androscoggin Valley Hospital is the leading provider of healthcare to thousands of families in the small-town communities of New Hampshire’s North Country. As a Critical Access Hospital, AVH offers 24/7 emergency care, in-house treatment of most medical issues, and an arrangement for treatment of all other problems with the nearest tertiary-care facility.
