TactWare is seeking a cloud engineer/administrator position to support in architecting, engineering, and sustaining digital platforms being modernized under Cloud One. Cloud One is an existing global, interconnected, virtualized, hybrid, and IT infrastructure hosting mission systems, applications, services, and data serves the U.S. Air Force (USAF) and other Government Customers. Cloud One facilitates the Government's efforts to migrate applications to a cloud environment, allowing the closure of data centers to support the Data Center Optimization Initiative (DCOI) and allowing for increased efficiencies across the entire spectrum of the USAF operations.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Architect and deploy existing software applications in modern cloud environments
• Robust communication with customers
• Monitor systems performance and maintain operation
• Control access to systems
• Manage and maintain backups for systems
• Update, configure, build and maintain systems and support infrastructure
• Record, troubleshoot and solve issues identified by users
• Work independently and with other engineers on requirements development, system architecture and system design
• Execute field operations support for customer event activities
• Other duties, as assigned by the Sys Admin Team Lead or Infrastructure Lead
