Accounting Manager to join a leading Company located in the Peachtree City, GA surrounding area.

Responsibilities:

• Management of an operational accounting team
• All necessary tasks within the scope of management (development of personnel as well as the operational and procedural framework conditions)
• Independent participation in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements of the respective company with all necessary individual tasks (Variance analysis on actuals, Assisting with month-end close, and Review results)
• Independently taking on special tasks when converting to USGAAP/IFRS
• Independent examination of complex business relationships and issues as part of a consulting function
• Participation in various special topics (e.g., projects)
• Initiating and participating in the optimization of financial processes
• Application of methods and instruments of financial and investment planning and preparation of planning calculations
• Ensuring effective communication with internal and external interfaces and partners

Basic Hiring Criteria:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and at least 5 years of experience in a comparable position in an industrial environment with management responsibility
• Minimum 5 years of general ledger or audit experience
• Minimum 3-4 years in a leadership role
• Minimum 3-4 years in Fixed Assets systems
• SAP experience
