Product Information Manager

Position Overview:

The Product Information Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products throughout the product lifecycle. By gathering and organizing product specifications, assets, packaging, and other related details, the Product Information Manager ensures that all product information is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders. Additionally, this role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate compliance efforts and quality assurance processes, thereby contributing to the overall success and integrity of our product offerings. The Product Information Manager is responsible for the preparation of marketing materials, presentations, and customer-facing documentation, ensuring alignment with product specifications and messaging.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Information Management:

  • Maintain a centralized repository of product information and assets including pricing, specs, images, descriptions, and technical documents.
  • Assist with the maintenance of data and assets on customer portals.
  • Communicate updates and changes in product specifications to all relevant teams.

Packaging Development and Design:

  • Coordinate with packaging designers, customers and suppliers to develop and approve packaging materials.
  • Ensure packaging complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Compliance, Standards, and Quality Assurance:

  • Work closely with customer compliance teams to ensure products meet customer-specific requirements and regulations.
  • Oversee lab testing and certification of new items to ensure they meet quality and regulatory standards.
  • Review customer product inspections and lab testing failures to suggest improvements.
  • Review defective and damaged goods claims to identify areas for improvement.

Documentation, Marketing, and Product Launch Support:

  • Assist in the preparation of product documentation and marketing materials for customers.
  • Support the product launch process by ensuring all materials are ready and distributed on time.

Sales Trend and Pricing Analysis:

  • Assist with the analysis of sales trends to identify opportunities and inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Assist with pricing analysis to support pricing strategies and decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven experience in product management or a related role.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with product management software and tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with data analysis, sales trend analysis, and pricing strategies.
