Job Overview - RN: Director of Education:

We are seeking a Director of Education to work at our Bronx location. Join our compassionate and dedicated team and make a difference in the lives of our members. This role involves overseeing the accuracy and timeliness of MLTC eligibility assessment data, reviewing assessments, and developing educational processes for clinical teams.

Location: Bronx, NY

Compensation: $160,000 - $180,000/year

Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities as the RN: Director of Education:

• Develop, direct, deliver, evaluate, and coordinate education programs for MLTC clinical staff.
• Oversee and manage the Nurse Educator Manager and Clinical Nurse Educator.
• Direct the preparation, scheduling, and selection of instructional materials and training aids.
• Ensure effective in-service programs are provided for staff.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and clinical standards of practice.

Qualifications for the RN: Director of Education:

• 5 years of experience in an Acute Care setting preferred.
• 3 years of teaching experience in a classroom or clinical setting, with experience in staff development or adult instruction.
• 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Current NY State RN License.
• Knowledge of DOH and MLTC standards for home care.
• Familiarity with Health Commerce system and UAS-NY.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
