Job Overview – Medical Billing Specialist :

Join our client’s healthcare team as a Medical Billing Specialist in Wisconsin! This role involves processing semi-monthly billing for strip medications, private pay statements, and Medicare and Medicaid billing.

The ideal candidate will have experience in medical billing and insurance claims, with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.

Compensation : $16 - $23 / hour (Dependent on Experience)

Location : Juneau County, WI

Schedule : 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities as the Medical Billing Specialist :

• Claims Processing : Submit and reconcile claims, review orders for correct insurance, coding, and authorizations.
• Documentation : Scan and document claims into RNA HELIX, collect remittances, and post claim payments.
• Denial Management : Correct coding errors, submit additional documentation, send corrected claims, and file appeals.
• Account Management : Balance customer claims accounts, process secondary claims and patient charges.
• Audit Handling : Process all payor claim audits, gather requested documentation, and submit to payor.
• Report Management : Work on aging reports for claims, determine non-payment reasons, make corrections, and resubmit claims.
• Inventory Pricing : Maintain RNA HELIX inventory pricing and price codes. Qualifications for the Medical Billing Specialist :
• Education : High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience : 1 years of related medical experience preferred.
• Industry Knowledge : RNA Helix billing experience required (Frameworks billing experience preferred).
• Skills : Intermediate proficiency with computers, strong quantitative and analytical competency, and experience in insurance claims.
• Attributes : Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail, excellent interpersonal communication, and problem-solving skills.
