Job Overview - Registered Nurse:

Our client is seeking a professional Registered Nurse to provide nursing care to patients and their significant others via direct and/or telephone contact, following established standards and practices. This role involves coordinating with other care team members to ensure seamless care delivery, maximal coordination of efforts, and active patient participation in planning and care.

Location: New York, NY

Compensation: $53 - $55/hour

Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse:

• Patient Care: Provide professional nursing care to patients, including direct care and telephone triage.
• Coordination: Work with other care team members to ensure seamless care delivery and maximal coordination.
• Clinical Procedures: Assist physicians or other providers with clinical procedures.
• Patient Teaching: Participate in patient teaching to ensure understanding and compliance with care plans.
• Supervision: Provide direction to LPNs, clerical assistants, MAs, and other non-licensed personnel.

Qualifications for the Registered Nurse:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure: Registered nurse licensed to practice in New York State with current NYS registration.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year as a RN or 2 years as a LPN in a pertinent practice area.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.), current BLS certification, and at least 2 years of recent pertinent professional nursing experience.
