TAG USA is Hiring a Staff Accountant Near Los Angeles, CA
- Work closely with the Head of US Finance on all aspects of accounting requirements
- Maintain General Ledgers in accordance with Audit reporting requirements
- In line with the group timetable, prepare monthly management accounts including journal entries and bank reconciliations as well as reconciliation of various schedules such as balance sheet and profit and loss accounts
- Work with the Head of US Finance on the collection of budgets and forecasts
- Ensure the daily finance activities are completed in a timely manner and in line with company controls and procedures
- Ensure financial controls are adhered to, and in line with company policies
- Maintain the revenue and expenditure reconciliation for any large events
- Work on preparation of audit, review packages, and play an essential part in the completion of audit testing
- Coordinate accounting matters with UK and Australia finance teams as required
- Process payment runs as required
- Review Tax filings for completeness, accuracy, and compliance and liaise with external Tax related stakeholders
- Complete ad hoc projects within finance (including system enhancements)
- Adhere to PCI regulations in accordance with Company policy
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 2 years of experience as a Staff Accountant or Travel industry experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of Accounting Software Packages and ability to learn new systems and software quickly
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong accounting and analytical skills
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment, to work in a pressurized and demanding environment, to work to agreed deadlines and be able to prioritize workload
- Ability to work independently or within a team environment
- High attention to detail and a problem-solving attitude
- Ability to accept instructions or directions and see through to completion
- Ability to multitask
- Competitive salary DOE: $65,560 salary - $70,000 salary
