We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Inventory Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for organization, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to ensuring our inventory processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting supply chain operations, and ensuring that our products are always available for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all inventory items, including tracking stock levels, reorder points, and discrepancies.
• Stock Replenishment: Assist with the ordering and restocking of products, ensuring timely and efficient replenishment.
• Data Entry: Input inventory data into our management system with a high level of accuracy.
• Quality Control: Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet our standards.
• Audits and Reporting: Conduct regular inventory audits and generate reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth inventory operations.
• Customer Support: Assist in resolving customer inquiries related to inventory and product availability.
• Process Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to inventory management processes and systems.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Previous experience in inventory management, supply chain, or related field is a plus.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
