Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for over 45 locations on time and with no errors.
  • Collect and verify timekeeping information for all employees.
  • Calculate pay according to hours worked incorporating leaves and overtime.
  • Calculating payable hours, taxes, and deductions and familiar with tips, bonuses, and commissions.
  • Processing wage garnishments.
  • Work with accounting to post each payroll to the general ledger.
  • Answer employees’ questions and concerns regarding payroll.
  • Work closely with HR verifying new hire data and updating employee payroll records.
  • Provide other clerical support necessary to process the obligations of the department.

Essential Skills:

  • Solid understanding of payroll and payroll coding in the general ledger.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and oral skills.
  • Experience in food & beverage preferred.

Requirements:

  • Degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in payroll department with multi-state and multi-unit payroll processing.
  • ADP Workforce Now required.
  • Spot-On, Teamwork, Google Suite, and Restaurant 365 experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work at a desk and use a computer approximately 6-8 hours per day.
  • Perform with frequent interruptions and/or distractions.
