We have an opportunity available for a Sales & Operations Manager- Foodservice Chains. The Sales & Operations Manager- Foodservice Chains will lead a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to the growth and development of restaurant chains. This role involves managing and expanding relationships with franchisees by addressing their ongoing equipment and supply needs, responding to new RFPs, launching new products, overseeing store renovations and retrofits, and driving new equipment initiatives, including automation, drive-thru operations, and POS systems.
This role includes, but not limited to overseeing the management of projects, installation, contract administration, coordination of job estimation and bidding along with consulting/design services. The Sales & Operations Manager- Foodservice Chains is responsible for the direct oversight/ management of National Account Managers. In addition, the Foodservice Sales Manager is responsible for review of all bids and new prospects prior to submittal as well as design/build and franchise projects.
Internal job responsibilities include forecasting, departmental strategy planning, business development, adhering to company profitability objectives and will lead finance & billing cross functional collaboration. This role will work hand-in-hand with the Director of Bid Contract/Multi-Unit Sales.
What you will do:
Maintain current Multi-Unit Business, including current Corporate accounts, franchise accounts, and existing customers.
  • Work with Project Managers and Project Coordinators to ensure multi-unit projects are on-schedule, under budget, and all equipment is ordered to specifications.
  • Monitor contract administration to confirm all contract paperwork, billing, and closeout documents are submitted as needed.
  • Oversee key accounts.
  • Manage National Account Managers to ensure timely quoting and accurate ordering for new locations.
  • Work with internal Installation department and subcontracted installers.
Drive profitable growth of Multi-Unit department by bidding projects and pursuing new franchise and key account opportunities.
  • Review and select multi-unit opportunities to pursue.
  • Business Development to grow opportunities as well as referral business.
  • Utilize existing relationships to find opportunities with related contacts and maximize profitability of the department.
  • Travel as needed to develop new accounts and maintain existing accounts to strengthen relationships and increase market share.
Design & Build projects/opportunities.
  • Offer our design & build abilities to new customers to secure the development of key accounts and capture additional “spec credits” from manufacturer partners.
  • Support existing accounts with our design team and CAD capabilities as needed by specific accounts.
Development and training
  • Coordinate Supplier Trainings and continuing education as required to maintain industry certifications.

What we need:
  • Ideal candidate has a minimum 5 years sales and multi-unit experience within the foodservice kitchen equipment & construction field. This includes bid/estimating, management, and sales.
  • Commercial foodservice layout and design skills are preferred.
  • College degree is preferred within business management, or other related degrees.
  • Proven experience along with extensive knowledge in Foodservice Restaurant project management, commercial kitchen construction process, and full scope of installation responsibilities.
  • Ability to stay organized while working with multiple customers and open projects daily.
  • Excellent computer skills to navigate between desktop & laptop programs: Microsoft Office, Autoquotes (AQ), and mobile devices.
  • Experience with Project Management Software, CRM Systems, and AutoCAD Proficiency
  • Strong Leadership skills with an emphasis on interactive, developmental mentoring
  • High level of experience and full knowledge of franchising/national accounts and associated relationship and buying programs.
  • High level of business acumen with an entrepreneurial spirit, self-driven with the ability to lead a team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Possess a positive attitude, focused, and highly effective oral and written communication skills.

Travel/Physical Requirements:
  • Office environment or work from home/remote office and jobsites.
  • Travel to construction sites and GC/Architect offices.
  • Periodic out of state travel to customer locations.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
