PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:Main Responsibilities include the following:
- Apply expertise in quantitative and qualitative analysis to synthesize trends into actionable insights.
- Timely delivery of deep-dive analyses - Customer Segmentation, Product Mix and Promotion Mix analysis, multi-variate models, Turf Analysis.
- Highly skilled in Data Mining using Alteryx. Source, combine, and synthesize large amounts of data from various data sources.
- Work cross-functionally to identify current organization gaps and emerging trends and recommend solutions based on qualitative analyses and market insights.
- Conduct Industry analysis: Analyze trends, patterns, early warnings, and forecasts. Utilize syndicated and other sources for periodical Retail industry assessment.
- Collaborate with the peer Data Science teams in developing and maintaining predictive forecasting models.
- Effective visualization for users to interact with the forecasting model.
- Recommend strategic action plans for Retail to drive sales across all product categories.
- Presentation skills in being able to tell the story behind the numbers.
- Maintain data quality. Implement data governance measures on databases.
- Establish and maintain regular automated reporting that analyzes data from multiple sources to provide insights into performance of the Mobile business leveraging Tableau and other data visual tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or similar field of study. Master’s Degree is preferred.
- 4 years of work experience in Retail Performance Analytics, Data Analytics with Data Modelling.
- Technical Skillset Requirements: Expert level; Alteryx skills, Intermediate - Expert Skills in Tableau, Advanced Excel, Power Point, R/ Python.
- Ability to source, combine and synthesize large amounts of data from various sources to complete statistical modeling, A/B testing, cluster analysis, sample size calculations and tests of significance.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with demonstrated experience building and delivering presentations.
- Collaboration within Retail Teams is a priority for this role.
- Capability to thrive in dynamic, fast-changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking with minimal supervision.
- Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple complex assignments and projects. Read and interpret detailed and complex customer requirements.
- Top Skills: Alteryx, Adv. Analytics, R/Python.
- Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of exp in Data Analytics.
- Experience in qualitative and quantitative analysis, multi-variance models, Regression Testing, (Al or machine-learning a bonus), Data Mining and Data Transformation, Forecasting and Predictive Modeling.
- Candidate should be comfortable working and interacting with peers and have good communication and presentation skills.
- Retail experience is preferred.
