Talascend is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for a contract opportunity in Morrow, GA.
The Warehouse Supervisor is expected to coach, mentor, and motivate a work group of UAW-represented hourly employees to deliver Best-in-Class Performance, Customer Service, and KPIs.
A Warehouse Supervisor would have the following responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Safety
• Quality
• Productivity and Efficiency
• Direct Supervision of UAW represented hourly employees
• Timekeeping of hourly direct reports
• Analyze root causes and utilize countermeasures to effectively resolve day-to-day workplace challenges
• Enforce Standards of Conduct within the PDC
• Drive continuous improvement projects and processes to deliver the KPIs.
• KPIs include, but are not limited to: Safety, Housekeeping, Overall Quality, Errors, Shortages, Wrong Parts Picked, On Time Delivery, Damage, Efficiency, Productivity, Costs, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years warehouse supervisory experience preferred
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and handle numerous responsibilities simultaneously
• Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and basic warehouse management computer skills
• Ability to work all shifts, start times and OT as required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
