REQUIREMENTS
Medication-assisted treatment is considered one of the safest and most effective approaches for the treatment of opioid addiction. Using FDA-approved medications, including methadone, buprenorphine and Suboxone, MAT addresses the uncomfortable symptoms of opioid withdrawal so you can better focus on your recovery journey. Each dosage lasts for 24 to 36 hours per treatment, allowing patients to function without intense cravings and withdrawal symptoms.
The patients we treat at our Bremerton location are unique, and we tailor programs to their history of use and recovery goals. You will visit our methadone clinic each day to receive your daily medicine, giving you a sense of structure and routine during the treatment process. Over time, privileges may be earned, such as take-home medication or prescriptions, depending on the medication used. The goal of treatment is to safely ease patients from medication use so they can continue their lives opioid-free.
