Position Description:

In addition, the candidate should respond well to change and quickly pick up new concepts in an ever-moving regulatory landscape. When faced with a problem, the candidate should be able to ask questions and leverage the skill set of those around them.
The FA Monitoring and Registration Technology department provides Technology solutions in support of customer suitability, FA sales practice supervision and Employee Registration & Licensing across the Firm.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients to define the scope of delivery
- Build client relationships and manage expectations
- Work closely with clients to define business requirements, including writing detailed functional requirements and use cases
- Create prototypes for business valuation and feedback
- Partner with data providers to ensure requirements are met
- Support development team in creating detailed technical specifications
- Conduct UAT, training sessions and user demos
- Support ongoing user requirements and investigate issues
- Manage strategy and roadmap for squads
- Co-ordinate squad/Fleet deliverables with a variety of stakeholders (other Technology Fleets)
- Support the squads/Fleet to remove any impediments
- Squad and Fleet level reporting for a variety of stakeholder audiences
- Assist the Fleet with adoption of best practices (Agile, SDLC 3.0, etc.)
Qualifications
The candidate should be capable of understanding and solving highly complex problems, have excellent communication skills and have financial services experience, preferably in the areas of investment banking and trading.
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Experience following the SDLC (Waterfall, Agile)
- Financial industry knowledge, preferably in Electronic Bluesheet/CAT reporting
- Knowledge of trades data, positions data, reference data
- Strong data analytical skills
- Experience working in medium to large-scale development projects
- Project management experience
