- Writing synthesizable Verilog HDL
- Understanding what a synthesizer will generate from RTL
- Writing a self-checking test benches
- Driving logic synthesis tools and closing timing pos PnR
- Taking a design from conception through PG and RTM
- Experience working with/in complex systems with multiple state machines
- Driving of back-en PnR tools, must be willing to learn if not familiar with these
- Driving scan chain generation
- Scripting and Programming skills
- Mixed Signal design and simulation
- DSP
- Radiation hardened system design
- Standard cell characterization, timing modules
