Senior Director of Facility and Asset Management responsibility is to oversee the operations and performance of the core functions including, finance, human resources, environmental, health & safety, facility asset management operations, program management operations and strategic planning services ensuring that all maintenance and projects initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role serves as a key liaison between the IREP, Client and the Supply Chain Leadership teams driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Exceptional leadership skills, communication, delegation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members at all levels
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Contract Management, or equivalent experience is highly desirable
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in strategic planning, facility asset management, or related fields, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role overseeing account management, multiple projects, teams, and client accounts
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing client accounts, driving operational excellence, and delivering strategic initiatives on time and within budget
  • Strong knowledge and experience in strategic planning and facility asset management methodologies, processes, and best practices
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in computerized maintenance manamegent systems (CMMS) with Archibus preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges
  • Proficient in business intelligence solutions, relevant asset management software and tools, such as Microsoft Office, strategic planning software, and facility asset management applications
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing requirements, and drive results in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, forecast resources, and optimize project profitability
  • Passion for continuous improvement and a commitment to delivering exceptional results for clients and the organization

What will your role look like?

  • Overall relationship with the Client and the Supply Chain Leadership Teams
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Finance Manager, Human Resources (HR) Lead, Environmental Lead, Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Lead, Project Management Operations (PMO) Lead, Strategic Planning & Space Management (SPS) Operations Lead and Facilities Asset Management (FAM) Operations Leads, ensuring alignment with the Client’s goals and objectives
  • Manage planning & scheduling priorities, allocate resources, and ensure effective communication between the respective teams including the Client and the Supply Chain
  • Monitor overall performance of PMO, SPS management and FAM projects, identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success, while communicating with the Client
  • Conduct regular reviews and status meetings with the PMO, SPS, EH&S, Environmental, Finance, HR and FAM Operations Leads, providing updates to the IREP Executive and key stakeholders
  • Oversee the PMO, SPS and FAM budgets, ensuring optimal resource utilization and alignment with financial objectives
  • Foster strong Client relationships, understanding their needs and expectations, and ensuring that PMO, SPS and FAM deliverables meet or exceed their requirements in full compliance with federal, state and local EH&S and laws
  • Manage daily, review regularly, amend as needed and, develop & implement new standard operating procedures to close gaps in service delivery and drive continuous improvements
  • Drive process improvements and implement initiatives to enhance strategic planning, facility asset management capabilities, and operational excellence
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to all direct reports and their teams, supporting IREP professional teams' development and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance, HR, and IT, to ensure seamless delivery and resource management across the respective service functions
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and incorporate them into all managed services and operations as appropriate
