Job Opening: Senior Construction Estimator

Summary: A commercial construction company in Braselton, GA is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ground-up construction (restaurants, fuel stations, retail stores) and interior construction (Big-Box retail, fast-paced projects, multi-site retail programs, renovations, interior buildouts, tenant improvements, and remodels in operational stores).

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze drawings and specifications; distribute to subcontractors for bids.
• Develop detailed project estimates and cost analyses.
• Negotiate with subcontractors to ensure complete scope coverage.
• Maintain a comprehensive cost database for labor and materials.
• Lead Preconstruction team through estimating, proposals, and value engineering.
• Collaborate with clients to ensure projects stay within budget.
• Mentor and train Junior Estimators.
• Understand and apply contractual terms and conditions.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, architects, and engineers.
• Stay updated with industry trends through continuous education.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Work with the Operations Team for smooth project handover.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Senior Estimator in commercial construction.
• Proven expertise in retail interior and ground-up commercial projects.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with estimating software and Bluebeam.
• High School Diploma required; Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.

• Position based in Braselton, GA office.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
