Job Description:
- Extensive experience with various networking products, including routers, switches, wireless solutions, WAN optimization technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco routers (including ISR & ASR), switches (Catalyst & Nexus), and wireless controllers/access points.
- Strong working knowledge of Riverbed WAN optimization solutions.
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Cisco DCNM, and Cisco Prime.
- Solid understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, ISIS) and switching protocols (RSTP/MST, Link Aggregation, QoS, VLAN/VXLAN).
- Familiarity with WAN topologies and protocols (MPLS, VPN, DMVPN, P2P links).
- Expertise in data center technologies (VPC, VDC, FEX, VXLAN, OTV, LISP).
- Strong troubleshooting skills for LAN & WAN issues, with the ability to identify fault segments and provide diagnostic insights.
- Expert-level configuration skills for routers, switches, wireless, and WAN optimization products.
- Mastery of Cisco command-line interface (CLI).
- Working knowledge of Aryaka SD-WAN technologies and Infoblox IPAM solutions (a plus).
- Experience with regular IOS upgrades, hotfix application, and network performance optimization techniques.
- Excellent skills in deep packet analysis using Wireshark to identify network anomalies.
- Familiarity with SDN/SDA/SDWAN technologies and Python scripting is a plus.
