Job DescriptionThis position serves as a Project Manager, providing oversight, leadership, and accountability for multiple small to medium-sized projects simultaneously or for a single large project.
Responsibilities
- Functioning as a PMO resource to client managers, supervisors, and staff involved in application maintenance and development.
- Developing, maintaining, and overseeing project schedules that are logical and resourcedriven.
- Maintaining the change control process, managing, and tracking changes in scope.
- Identifying project issues and risks, escalating to senior management as appropriate.
- Monitoring project performance, reporting status, and facilitating the creation of action plans to ensure adherence to project schedules.
- Interacting with various teams to develop and maintain project schedules and related documents.
- Assisting in information gathering, budget analysis, project estimating, and procurement.
- Providing assistance on special projects and promoting compliance with the State Unified Information Technology Environment (SUITE), potentially utilizing Scrum methodology and practices.
