The Real Estate Analyst is responsible for conducting in-depth research, financial analysis, and market studies to support the acquisition, development, and management of real estate assets. This role involves evaluating property performance, forecasting trends, and providing actionable insights to guide strategic decisions

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research:

• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the real estate market.
• Analyze economic, demographic, and property market data to support investment strategies.

Financial Analysis:

• Prepare detailed financial models to evaluate the performance of existing and prospective real estate investments.
• Perform cash flow analysis, net present value (NPV) calculations, internal rate of return (IRR) analysis, and other financial metrics.

Property Evaluation:

• Assess the value of properties through comparative market analysis (CMA), income capitalization, and cost approaches.
• Conduct site visits and property inspections to gather relevant data for evaluations.

Due Diligence:

• Assist in the due diligence process for property acquisitions and dispositions, including reviewing leases, financial statements, and legal documents.
• Coordinate with legal, financial, and technical teams to ensure comprehensive due diligence.

Reporting and Presentation:

• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and recommendations based on analysis and research.
• Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders, including senior management, investors, and clients.

Data Management:

• Maintain and update databases with relevant market data, property information, and transaction records.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of data used for analysis and reporting.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with other team members, including asset managers, brokers, and developers, to support project goals.
• Participate in strategy meetings and contribute to the development of investment and management plans.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in real estate analysis.
• Recommend improvements to analysis methods, tools, and processes.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CCIM) is a plus.
• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in real estate analysis, finance, or a related field.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Excellent research and data analysis abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with real estate software (e.g., Argus) is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
