About the job Physical Therapist - DPT

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team at a facility specializing in comprehensive therapeutic services aimed at enhancing mental health and well-being. As a Physical Therapist with us, you will play a crucial role in assessing, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs to support clients' rehabilitation and overall wellness goals.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions to determine functional capabilities and limitations.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapies.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, exercises, and strategies to improve clients' mobility, strength, and physical function.
  • Educate clients and their families on treatment plans and self-care techniques to support recovery and ongoing health.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, counselors, and other therapists, to ensure integrated and holistic care.
  • Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of treatment sessions and client progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and stay current with industry trends.
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Proven experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a therapeutic or mental health setting.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and MS Office suite.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Visual, auditory, and speaking skills necessary to evaluate and communicate effectively with clients.
Compensation:
  • Salary: $47 - $55 ($97,760 - $114,400 annual) per hour, commensurate with experience.
