Talent One Services is Hiring an Occupational Therapy Near lewiston, ID

Join our dedicated healthcare team as an Occupational Therapist, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for physically disabled patients. This role offers the unique opportunity to make significant impacts on patient outcomes through personalized therapy plans. Under the general supervision of a physician, the Occupational Therapist assesses the functional needs of physically disabled patients and develops tailored treatment plans. The goal is to enhance the patient’s ability to manage daily activities and improve their quality of life.

Sign-On and Relocation Benefits:

  • $15,000 Sign-on Bonus: Offered to new hires under specific conditions to be discussed during the hiring process.
  • Relocation Assistance: Negotiable based on relocation distance, with a 2-year work commitment required. Assistance is paid out within 30 days upon submission of relevant receipts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment: Objectively and quantifiably assess patients' baseline level of self-care function, including medical history, cognitive function, sensory-perceptual-motor function, and activities of daily living.
  • Goal Setting: Identify patients' functional needs and establish measurable, realistic treatment outcome goals.
  • Treatment Implementation: Plan and implement treatment programs aimed at achieving established goals. Adjust treatment plans dynamically based on the patient's clinical response to ensure consistency and continuity.

Work Schedule:

  • Acute Rehab Unit: Normal hours are 8 AM - 4:30 PM, with schedules based on departmental needs.
  • Acute Rehab/Inpatient Units: Tuesday - Friday, 7 AM – 5 PM (4/10 schedule), with hours split between the Acute Rehab Unit and Inpatient units.

Shift Differentials:

  • Evening Shift (3 PM – 11:30 PM): 8%
  • Night Shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM): 11%
  • No differential for weekend shifts.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited occupational therapy program.
  • Licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of Idaho; candidates may apply prior to graduation or receiving licensure.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

This role demands a deep understanding of the principles of growth and development across the lifespan and the ability to provide care that reflects the developmental status of the patient.
