OverviewThis position is critical to help stabilize the commissions process and will be working on responding to broker commission inquiries and processing commissions payouts. The ideal candidate has commissions experience and strong analytical skills.
DescriptionThe Broker Operations Technical Analyst II role resides on the Broker Operations team. The role will be a key player in ensuring accurate and timely commission payouts. The role will involve managing the end-to-end commission payment process, collaborating with various teams, and leveraging expertise to ensure the smooth execution of commission-related activities.
Key AccountabilitiesCommission Payment Analysis (40%)
Utilize ICM to process commission payments in accordance with established rules, sales performance metrics, and contractual terms.
Calculate and process manual commission payments.
Data Analysis and Validation (25%)Analyze commission payment data to validate calculations, identify discrepancies, and resolve any payment-related issues
Conduct regular audits to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
Reconcile commission payments with sales data and sales representatives' records, ensuring accuracy and alignment.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies between calculated commissions and actual payments.
Reporting and Documentation (20%)Generate commission payment reports for distribution to relevant stakeholders.
Maintain detailed documentation of commission payment processes, changes, and agreements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration (15%)Collaborate closely with sales, finance, and IT teams to align commission payment processes, address inquiries, and resolve issues.
Collaborate with IT teams to address system-related queries and challenges.
Minimum Qualifications/RequirementsMinimum education level required to qualify for the position: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Minimum years' experience required in the field to qualify for the position: 3
Specific Types Of Experience Or Skills RequiredVery strong written and verbal communication skills
Intermediate experience in Excel
Minimum 3 Years Recent Experience Executing Commission PaymentsExperience with payment software solutions
Strong drive for results and accountability
Exceptional judgement and decision-making capabilities
