Job DescriptionSummary:
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies tailored to the internal Global Supply Chain organization, the broader Cloud Operations Innovation (CO I) organization, and external suppliers and partners.
  • Ensure alignment of all communication efforts with the overall business strategy and objectives of the data center and supply chain operations.
Internal Communications:
  • Create and execute internal communication plans to keep the Global Supply Chain team informed about operations, updates, and changes.
  • Develop and distribute regular newsletters, bulletins, and internal reports.
  • Maintain and update the supply chain team's intranet pages with relevant information, news, and resources.
  • Organize and facilitate team meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
  • Prepare and present communication materials for internal briefings.
Broader CO I Organization Communications:
  • Develop strategies to communicate key supply chain updates and initiatives to the broader CO I organization.
  • Create content for CO I internal newsletters, presentations, and reports to ensure alignment and transparency across teams.
External Communications with Suppliers and Partners:
  • Manage communications with external stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and partners.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key external contacts to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
  • Create and execute crisis communication plans in response to supply chain disruptions or emergencies.
Project Management:
  • Lead and manage communication projects related to supply chain initiatives, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
  • Implement and manage collaboration tools and platforms to enhance communication and information sharing among the global team.
  • Collect feedback from team members and stakeholders to continuously improve communication effectiveness.
Analytical Roles:
  • Monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns.
  • Prepare regular reports on communication activities and outcomes for senior management.
Soft Skills:
  • Foster a positive and collaborative communication culture within the team.
  • Address and resolve communication-related issues and challenges efficiently.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a communications role, preferably within a supply chain or technology environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using communication and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Office Suite, SharePoint, Slack, etc.).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to monitor and report on communication metrics.
  • Experience in crisis communication and public relations is a plus.
Candidate Requirements
  • Years of Experience Required: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a communications role, preferably within a supply chain or technology environment.
  • Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required to be eligible for this role.
  • Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain:
