- Target Ratios: 1:6-7 (Target ratio is 1:6, could go to 1:7 in times of surge but that would be the exception, not the norm.)
- Shift: 12 Hour Night
- 36 hours can be offered.
- Will accept 13 week contracts.
- Float Requirement: Yes - Float may be required to other med/surg units as needed.
- Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend Required
- Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year (prefer 1st time travelers to have Epic documentation experience)
- Traveler Experience: Not required / accepts 1st time traveler
- Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
- Skills: Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Total Joint Replacements, Prefer 1st time travelers to have Epic documentation experience
- BCLS
- EPIC
- Medical and post surgical patients including but not limited to hip/knee replacements, small bowel obstruction, post procedure pacemaker, prostatectomy, TURP, laparoscopic surgeries, etc. Remote telemetry monitoring.
- Pyxis, Epic, SBAR
- Unit schedules
- 24 hours
- Hospital Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each day.
