Pay Range: $28 - $32/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the characterization of potential pre-clinical drug candidate physicochemical properties and the identification of suitable oral and parenteral preclinical formulations for pharmacology and toxicology studies for small molecules.
• Specifically, the candidate will use analytical tools to measure solubility / physical form as well as chemical stability.
• In this exciting role you will provide support to our discovery therapeutic areas based at our multi-disciplinary drug discovery site based in Boston, MA.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• BS/MS is scientific/engineering/Life sciences field.
• Will also consider recent PHD candidates.
• 4-8 years experience in industry in Pharmaceutical/ physical/ analytical chemistry/ food science, or academic equivalent, is required.
• The ability to run, and interpret chromatography is a must.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Strong leadership/interpersonal skills and a motivation to work in a team environment with cross-functional interactions are essential.
• An understanding of preformulation aspects of new chemical entities, ability to generate and interpret preformulation laboratory data including microscopy, solubility, dissolution, DSC, PXRD are preferred.
