Responsibilities:
-Service, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration units.
-Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, developing effective solutions to resolve them.
-Perform routine maintenance to ensure HVAC systems operate safely and efficiently, including tasks such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, and lubricating motors.
-Install and program thermostats and other HVAC control systems.
-Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including materials used and time spent on each job.
-Communicate with customers to explain the work being performed, answer questions, and provide guidance on HVAC system operation and maintenance.
-Stay current with the latest technologies and industry developments related to HVAC systems. -Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree or certification in HVAC or a related field is preferred.
-Over 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.
-Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including their design, operation, and components.
-Knowledge of refrigeration systems and their operation.
-Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and diagrams.
-Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
-Excellent communication and customer service skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
-Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
