Electrical Maintenance Technician

Location: Battle Creek, MI

Shift: 2nd shift

Pay: $25-$33/hour based on experience

Job Description-

• Resposible for preventative maintenance of equipment on a daily basis
• Oil/liner changes
• Cleaning vacuum/scraping/grinding
• Cathode changes/rebuild
• 5S
• Filter Changes
• Replacing electrical and mechanical components
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting

Required Experience-

• 3 years in a technical or mechanical position
• High School Diploma
• Basic electrical knowledge
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems
• Basic understanding of hydraulic systems
• Strong mechanical aptitude

Preferred Qualifications-

• 5 years in a manufacturing environment
• Pass Mechanical Aptitude Test
• Preventative maintenance experience
• VTI experience
• Molding/coating experience
• PLC/Robotic programming

Physical Requirements-

• Able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Have specific vision abilities related to depth perception and color vision.
• Comfortable working in a factory environment with moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels.
• Position may require travel, occasionally overnight, to perform essential functions.
• Position may require overtime on little or no notice, and work varied shifts to conduct duties.
