What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Technician position at Talent Strategy?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Quality Technician in the Grand Haven, MI area to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance with the ability to use measurement tools, interpret blueprints and drawings, and apply GD&T principles. ISO experience is highly preferred.
1st Shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm
Pay: 18.00-22.00/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished products using measurement tools to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and tolerancing requirements, applying GD&T principles to verify part conformance.
- Document and report inspection findings, including non-conformance issues.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain and calibrate quality measurement tools and equipment.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with ISO standards and quality management systems.
Qualifications:
- 1 years of experience in a quality technician or related role.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, tolerancing, and GD&T.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and procedures is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
