Job Title: Field Sheet Metal Worker

Location: Lansing, MI

Pay: $20/hour - $30/hour

Job Description:

•Fabricate and install ductwork, fittings, and other sheet metal products on-site according to specifications and blueprints.

•Conduct on-site repairs and maintenance of HVAC systems and sheet metal components to ensure they function optimally and comply with safety standards.

•Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of HVAC systems and required materials for field projects.

•Accurately measure and cut sheet metal to required dimensions using hand tools, power tools, and machinery while on job sites.

•Perform welding, soldering, and riveting on-site to assemble and secure sheet metal parts.

•Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and adherence to safety standards.

•Communicate effectively with clients on-site to ensure their needs are met and provide updates on project status.

•Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment on-site.

Qualifications:

•Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sheet Metal Worker in the HVAC industry.

•Proficiency in fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing sheet metal products and HVAC systems on-site.

•Strong understanding of HVAC systems, blueprints, and building codes.

•Experience using hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal machinery.

•Skilled in on-site welding, soldering, and riveting techniques.

•Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

•Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various field conditions.

•Strong communication and customer service skills.

•Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
