Overview:
We are seeking a highly competent Financial Analyst to our client's team, bringing expertise and a proactive approach to our financial management. This pivotal role involves preparing executive-level financial presentations independently, managing G&A expenses through effective analysis, and engaging cross-functionally to ensure cohesive financial operations across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Presentations: Independently prepare detailed schedules for senior management presentations, requiring minimal revisions and reflecting deep financial insights.
  • Financial Analysis & Management Reporting: Take charge of the financial planning and reporting processes for designated business units. Deliver accurate and timely financials, including monthly reports, revenue analysis, and functional expense oversight.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and champion enhancements in financial processes and cost efficiencies, significantly contributing to profit improvement.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Clearly articulate financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders, ensuring understanding and support across business functions.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Coordinate budgeting and planning processes, acting as a key liaison between finance and business units.
  • Participate in setting annual budget and forecasting, handling everything from capital planning to overhead allocations.
  • Engage in cost accounting activities as needed, ensuring adherence to financial standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives aimed at optimizing financial systems and processes.
  • Support periodic activities like physical inventories and fixed asset audits through dedicated financial backing.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP), policies and procedures is required.
  • Proactively manages the budgeting and planning process for a plant or group of manufacturing operations including capital planning, departmental operating costs, overhead allocations and implements an appropriate review process.
  • Collaborates with FP&A management to ensure accurate review and approval of annual material, labor and overhead standards. Performs Cost Accounting activities as required for areas of responsibility.
  • Participates in cross-functional corporate initiatives to optimize financial systems and/or improve processes.
  • Works with junior financial analyst(s) and may serve as a mentor to ensure successful accomplishments of individual and team goals and objectives.
  • Interacts with and supports both internal and external audit activities.
  • Attends and actively participates in meetings and interacts with individuals of all levels on the manufacturing floor. Establishes a regular presence on the floor.
  • Provide Finance support, as needed, for periodic activities such as physical inventories, fixed asset audits, inventory excess and obsolescence, customer quotes, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Work Experience Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and other financial reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform complex data analysis and offer actionable insights.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Estimated annual compensation: $85,000 - $95,000

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
