About the Job
A client is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join their team. The role involves conducting psychiatric screenings, facilitating transitions from emergency services to clinic services, providing crisis intervention, and offering short-term therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities also include educating families about illnesses, making treatment recommendations, and linking patients to mental health and community services. Candidates must have a valid LMSW license from NYSED, one year of experience, and malpractice insurance. The position is contract hire with working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
