Sheet Metal Mechanics for a 2 week project

Read and interpret blueprints
-Hang duct work
-Install dampers, vav boxes, and air handlers
-Troubleshoot problems
-Adhere to safety policies, procedures, and codes
Must have your own tools and reliable transportation!
Basic Tools: tongs, snips, hammers, tape, marker, pliers
• Understand and apply all mechanical codes for duct installation.
• Properly install/hang air handlers and exhaust fans.
• Properly install square, round and oval ductwork and accessories dampers, louvers, etc.
• Properly insulate duct per project specifications.
• Take field measurements of ductwork based on drawings and field conditions
