TalentBridge is Hiring a Help Desk Specialist Near Charlotte, NC

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Support Desk Specialist III to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and voice/data communication systems issues. They will also be adept at escalating calls when appropriate, writing concise and informative service tickets, and following up on all tickets in a timely manner to ensure issues are pursued through to resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and voice/data communication systems issues.
  • Escalate calls to appropriate personnel or departments when necessary.
  • Write clear and informative service tickets.
  • Follow up on all service tickets to ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide detailed and accurate technical support reports and documentation.
  • Maintain broad knowledge and proficiency with popular operating systems, application software, desktop and laptop computers, printers, and networks.

Requirements:

  • 0-3 years of experience in technical support or a related field.
  • Experience using ticketing systems.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues.
  • Proficient in writing technical support reports and documentation.
  • Broad knowledge of popular operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), application software, and computer hardware.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Strong customer service skills and a detail-oriented approach.
