TalentBridge is partnered with a local manufacturer in need of an experienced Quality Engineer with background and understanding of automotive industry standards. Individuals with Manufacturing experience and hands on Problem Solving, Corrective Actions, Customer Point-of-Contact, APQP, and PPAP should apply immediately. We need candidates that have a passion for quality and holding team to standards for manufacturing.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Science in Quality or Engineering
• High level proficiency with the AIAG Control Plan, FMEAs, PPAPs, MSA and SPC standards
• Experience working directly with customers and suppliers, particularly automotive related
• Execute problem solving methodologies and/or system improvements toward strategic goals (8D, 5Y, Ishikawa / Fish Bone Diagrams)
• Mechanical/technical skills and ability to read engineering drawings (GD&T) is desired
• Knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing methods is a plus
• Independent and creative individual who is goal oriented and exercises effective time and available resource management
• American Society for Quality and Six Sigma certifications are a plus (CQT, CQE, CQM / CSSGB, CSSBB

• Responsible for maintaining quality processes and procedures in the manufacturing production
• Lead, develop, manage and execute all quality systems required within assigned area of responsibility
• Support customers, suppliers, Launch personnel, and Operations staff for quality related issues
• Execute PPAP submissions, as required for OEM and Tier I & II customers
