Description1st Shift Position 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Required Skills1.1 or more years lab experience working with mammalian cell cultures and aseptic technique
- Proficient with MS Office
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Tests products to determine and maintain the quality and reliability of products. Achieve department requirements for safety, quality, product release, sample throughput, and cost. Ensures goods are tested to meet release commitments.
- Responsibilities include:
- Perform product testing including functionality, cytotoxicity, plating efficiency and various microbiology tests. Maintain cell culture flasks and monitor inventory of frozen vials, growth media and supplements. Perform in-process testing, line clearances, review of report forms, preventive maintenance of equipment and other testing and activities in support of the QC lab.
