Laboratory Assistant
Location : 8480 DuPont Rd, Washington, WV 26181
Duration : 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ( Mon- Fri )
pay rate : $20.00 /hr.

Summary
Individual will have responsibility for conducting routine and some non-routine testing on glass laminate samples. This involves:
- Prioritization of work load
- Accuracy and attention to detail is a critical.
- Conducting appropriate testing, and data entry of test results into Excel spreadsheets.
- Collecting and communicating test data to the appropriate individuals in a timely manner.
- Individual must participate in all safety training and ensure compliance with all safe work practices and safety rules.
- Individual will be required to use, maintain and clean up after use of testing equipment.
Education / Training: College Degree, certification or lab experience is preferred.
Experience:
- Physical fitness required such as: Lifting heavy boxes, standing for long periods of time, using a tile saw to cut glass and hammer to crush glass.
- Experience working with instruments such as Optical Analyzers such as Haze meters, Colorimeters and Spectrometers is preferred.
- Accuracy and attention to detail in recording test results is a must. Ability to recognize abnormal results in equipment standards as an indication of equipment issues.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and coordinate workload. Supporting a team of people to meet test deadlines.
- Microsoft Office 365 Applications
- Outlook E-mail systems
- Share Point
- Aptitude to learn various instrument software
