Job Title: Principal Enterprise Salesforce Architect

Primary Location: Chicago, IL - onsite 2-3 days per week

Overview:
TalentFish is casting a line for a Principal Salesforce Architect. This is a Direct-Hire role in Chicago, IL. In this leadership role you will work alongside other application architects and senior leaders to develop and architect strategic initiatives that align with the organization's overall solution objectives, with a keen focus on Salesforce.com CRM.

• To be successful in this role, the Enterprise Salesforce Architect will have extensive Salesforce.com experience, strong leadership and communication skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of relevant technology trends, design patterns, and Lightning Apps best practices.
• Additionally, this role should be able to think strategically and work collaboratively with other departments to achieve the organization's goals.

What You Bring to the Role. (Ideal Experience)

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data science, or related field.
• 5 years of experience with Salesforce.com (Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Connectors, Salesforce Platform), preferred in a global capacity.
• Familiarity with The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF). Certification is a big Plus.
• Strong knowledge of architecture governance concepts, application design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience developing and implementing architecture governance, guidelines, procedures, and standards.
• Experience with one or more of the following platforms: Introhive, ServiceNow, MuleSoft, Azure, Microsoft 365.
• Proven change management skills.
• Excellent communication, diplomacy, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with business and IT cross-functional teams.
• Experience leading a team of architects, technology owners, and technology subject matter experts.

What You'll Do. (Skills Used in this Position)

• Partake in the development of Salesforce.com application architecture, including the Target State Application Architecture that addresses the Statement of Architecture Work and stakeholder expectations.
• Ensuring that Salesforce.com architecture is aligned with the organization's overall solution goals and objectives.
• Develop and maintain reference architecture, architecture building blocks (ABB), standards, and guidelines to ensure that the organization's technology is secure and compliant with industry standards.
• Identify areas for capability improvement and implement strategies and roadmaps to address them.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify and participate in prioritization initiatives.
• Stay up to date with emerging technology trends and developments and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.
• Communicate technology target state, roadmaps, and development progress to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
