TalentLogistix is seeking an experienced finance professional to join our corporate leadership team as the Accounting Director to keep our finances positioned for continued success.

This leader will have day-to-day responsibility for payroll, financial reporting, banking relationships, outsourced accounting firm relationships, and collections. As a member of senior management, the Finance Leader will be comfortable in a leadership role that requires clear and effective communication skills.

Job Functions:

• Direct oversite of cash management, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting, and help drive the company’s financial strategy and potential hiring needs.
• Coordinate development of annual operating, capital, and program budgets, as well as reporting for the same
• Ensure cash flow is compatible with operations by overseeing day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal-control activities of the organization
• Streamline current payroll process to ensure efficiency, timeliness and accuracy
• Prepare Invoices based on Approved Time collected from our Client, Process Accounts Payable and Receivable and Manage invoices.
• Maintain accuracy for internal financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
• Develop and implement best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization that has strong fiscal management, project coordination, cross-team communications, and workflows
• Comply with national and local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation and taking appropriate action
• Maintains general ledger controls, access, and chart of accounts.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and approve weekly invoicing to clients and payroll for internal and field teams.
• Manage banking relationships to maximize cash management.
• Manage QBO accounts for regular reporting and tracking.
• Lead month end close and quarterly reporting.
• Work with senior leaders to efficiently develop budget proposals, provide access to project finance information, and prepare commission and bonus reporting
• Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyze internal operations, and identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement
• Oversee outsourced PEO operations by coordinating with external service providers (ex: payroll, benefits, credit) and internal staff
• Monitor business performance with tracking tools, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports for management team, and rest of company

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Economics
• Accounting experience within a workforce solutions or staffing
• Minimum of Five (5) or more years of financial accounting experience with progressive responsibilities; ideally responsible for providing senior leadership teams financial guidance and performing all financial monthly closing responsibilities
• Proven ability to obtain, understand, and keep abreast of emerging financial accounting standards.
